Yet Municipal WiFi Dreams Live On

I Watched the Traverse City Schools cut a lot of folks out last night.

I also watched the East Bay Township begin the process for mis-allocation of future tax dollars through its approval of another process of funding for a (DDA Program) new authority that spells trouble for more than the one mile section of the township.

There was news that Cheboygan Schools are cutting out a few jobs as well.

And I was also able to see parts of the city of Traverse City wrestle through a study session with great discussions about money they don’t have.  At one point a certain commissioner openly wondering (joking) if there was a Toyota “Prius Fire Engine.”

I guess no one expects, or expected trouble.  It seems no one understands that there are up times and down times, and for some reason the can that has been kicked down the road got wedged in a pothole, its sharp edges slicing all of the police, fire, and school bus tires before it dislodged and rolled into a newly created brownfield property zone, taking away the repair money.

But free Google is where its at.

Unless you aren’t from Michigan.
