Can you imagine?

What if there were no longer offices fully staffed in our Michigan state capital for legislators, but rather merely local ones, where constituents can actually have access to their representatives?  The Other Club highlights a Glenn Beck video clip with a NH rep who casually mentions they do not have offices in the capital, as he discusses NH HR 6.

Advantages would be Access for the citizenry, lack of access for the inappropriate lobbying, and better family life and connectivity for our reps. Win Win Win. Just throwing it out there..

Did he mention that the Hous there has 424 members? (!) In NH, everyone gets to be state Rep. at some point in their life. 😀

That is crazy. Think of all the gas the lobbyists would have to use to influence them. Someone call Al Gore.

Rose.. that was kinda the point.. the reps would be FAR MORE accountable to the people in their districts than to the continued pressure of the lobbyists who can pop in office to office, or invite a few “marks” out to lunch..

Jack.. Ha! that is great.. what a novel concept… true citizen participation..

That means somewhere in Concord there is a cabinet with 424 drawers? Awesome!
