Whereas, It reached 60 degrees farenheit in Traverse City and,
Whereas I was able to go out without a jacket for the first time today and,
Whereas I was able to spend over an hour in my light Hawaiian style shirt to collect signatures for the Michigan Fair Tax ballot initiative at the local Post Office and,
Whereas, the sun has warmed me,
I declare Saturday, April 5, 2008 the official “Spring has sprung day”
