I have nothing against the trades.
I have nothing against people wanting to build.
However… Michigan government needs LESS buildings to maintain. Less Money spent on purchasing supplies, personnel, etc..
Granholm would love to use what is perceived as a “Surplus” in the budget, and order further expansion under the guise of a stimulus package. Our senate leaders are correct in holding up this payback to Granholm’s Union supporters.
The spending by Michigan government is currently limited to contracts held by Union organizations. This means any stimulus package is simply stimulus to the particular trade unions to which our governor is beholding.
