How Ironic: Flight 93 Families Ask Bush to OK Land Seizure for Memorial

After I got done slinging some code, I decided to take a look at what Fox news had in their RSS feed. What I found was disturbing.

“I think the rest of the family members and I feel there is no point at which we will stop,” White said. “Whatever it takes. As long as it takes. Whoever it takes. To do anything less would be doing a disservice to those that we love.”

Doing whatever it takes… isn’t that the ideology that the hijackers had when they hijacked Flight 93?

The act of confiscating the land, negates everything rightly to be memorialized. Does anybody remember what America is all about?

There’s a lot of problems with that memorial. The whole thing should be scrapped and started over from scratch.

The Flight 93 families are divided on this. In particular, the Burnett family has supported the Svonavec’s against the memorial Project’s thuggish behavior. Mr. Burnett has also protested the memorial design. He does not want the Park Service planting a giant Islamic shaped crescent atop his son’s grave.
