EVENT SCHEDULE
9 AM – Arrival of our guests with coffee and donuts
9:30 AM – Lighthouse Rehabilitation Center presentation of Action Track Wheelchair to paralyzed
veteran Mike Harris
9 AM to 7 PM – Santa Claus arrives and will welcome visitors all day and will be available for photos.
Several local area Veterans Service Organizations will set up information tables for veterans. Volunteers will be loading donated items onto an Army truck all day.
1 PM – A special Veterans Day Tribute by the Mid-Michigan Honor Flight.
5 PM – Tribute to museum founder Stan Bozich.
5:30 PM – Closing ceremony – Frankenmuth American Legion Post and local area Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts, which will include an American Flag Retirement Ceremony, a 21 Gun Salute and the playing of Taps.
Admission to the museum will be free for the entire day. Please show your support to our brave military men and women. Suggested items to donate to the troops are: Beef or Turkey jerky (no pork); Tuna/Chicken packets or cans; nuts or granola bars; Baby wipes (non-alcoholic); lip balm; medicated body powder; footballs; basketballs; card games; and hand-held video games. Donations are also accepted.
