Calls on Pelosi and Schauer to stop health care plan, trillion dollar deficits
Tipton, MI– Republican Congressional Candidate Tim Walberg made the following statement regarding the election result in Massachusetts last evening:
“Congratulations to Senator-elect Scott Brown on his resounding victory last night that was achieved in the heavily Democrat state of Massachusetts by fighting against a government takeover of health care, tax increases, and reckless spending and debt. Independents, Republicans and Democrats made clear last night that the Washington D.C. liberal establishment’s plan of higher spending, higher debt, and higher taxes is the wrong direction and citizens are rightly demanding that elected officials hear their voices. Today, I once again call on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Mark Schauer to scrap their trillion dollar government takeover of health care and to stop spending trillions of dollars we do not have, because the citizens of south central Michigan deserve better.”
