"the right of the people peaceably to assemble"

What do these words mean to you?  Should they be so differently interpreted by so small a difference between us as the way we were raised?  The position we hold?  Our political affiliation?

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Sadly, there are ways to silence the opposition that the government can use still..

It won’t work in most places..  and it likely will not work even there.  See you all at the tea parties..
