Spring Has Sprung Day

Whereas,  It reached 60 degrees farenheit in Traverse City and,

Whereas I was able to go out without a jacket for the first time today and,

Whereas I was able to spend over an hour in my light Hawaiian style shirt to collect signatures for the Michigan Fair Tax ballot initiative at the local Post Office and,

Whereas, the sun has warmed me,

I declare Saturday, April 5, 2008 the official “Spring has sprung day”

~thank you god.. it has been a long winter~

I thought it was a lovely day to collect signatures also. I am recalling Speaker Andy Dillon. The Redford cops got after me again (two cars and two policemen) to intimidate me unsucessfully. So I think it was a pretty good day too. I hope it will be a good day on April 15, when we have a taxpayers Rally at the Redford Post Office 12245 Beech Daly from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Our Special Guest will be Mr. Perks the 9ft foam pink pig.

Hope everyone will come and Join us.

It’s about time we got some of that “global warming” stuff Al Gore has been talking about.

Beautiful day in west Michigan though.

Awesome work up there on the Fair Tax Initiative in Michigan. I’m orginally from the Monroe Mi./Toledo Oh. area, and have been fervently working on ALL Things Fair Tax down here in the Charleston, SC area.

Good luck up there and keep up the great work, we’re all rooting for you! Unfortunately South Carolina doesn’t allow ballot initiatives so we’ve got to do it by electing in or pressuring our state legislators to support a State Fair Tax plan in the State House and Senate.
The more we all work at this thing, the more politicians see that their best bet is to get on board before they get run over.

My wife and I put together and run a couple of Fair Tax websites here in South Carolina…would love to have you check em out and let us know what you think. http://www.scfairtax.org and http://www.fairtaxsummerville.com

Thanks for all your doing up there. Dennis
