The Core Principles Blog has a little item about efficiency.

I made note of efficiency in the property tax collecting in one of our local townships.

Perhaps it is time our state government stops concentrating on how to spend our hard earned dollars, and concentrates on eliminating departments which serve no purpose but to collect money, and at a higher cost than the amounts raised.

The Mackinac Center has analyzed  government collection of revenues, and associated costs. Perhaps Michigan leaders could maybe ask for a little help?
