Your Excellency, because they are legislators, it doesn’t mean it is “treasonous” to disagree with you. Whether you like it or not, the United States still has a constitution to protect it’s constituents from your type of leadership.
Governor, gas taxes are high yes. And it DOES affect the poor probably more than anyone else, but so do bad roads. The most fair tax in existence today is the gas tax, like it or not. However, Crain’s reported that, being explored is the possibility the state will raise the gas tax but lower the 6-cent Michigan sales tax on gasoline by 1 cent a year over three years to offset the gas-tax increase. How stupid. How completely stupid. Will you put your signature on that piece of excrement? Cut the material off one end and add to the other.. on the same product.. DOH!
