Whereas there has been great disagreement amongst peers in the house of representatives and,
Whereas the Senate also has lost consensus and,
Whereas The two have sat face to face and side by side for long hours with deep soul searching in their eyes and,
Whereas those long hours bear little if any fruit but the aches and pains of inactivity both mental and physically,
We Proclaim this day November 1, 2007 to be Michigan Legislative Sore bottom day, a day when the pain of what is really happening to our fair state begins to take its toll on the aggressors of the taxpayers.
