Governor Orders Currency Issuance

Michigan looks for new jobs in new ways

Lansing – News Sources

Governor Jennifer Granholm today issued an executive order to have new “Michigan” currency printed in one “Buck,” two “Buck,” ten “Buck,” and twenty “Buck” denominations. The face of the new currency will be somewhat similar to the US dollar, but with a picture of Dennis Archer, Coleman Young, Jimmy Hoffa, and her excellency Jennifer Granholm. The new currency is expected to be available by mid spring 2008.

When asked why Michigan needs it’s own currency the governor replied “Recently US currency value has dropped below even Canada’s, and the nation has prospered with new jobs and is selling more than ever..” She continues: “Since the ‘Buck’ will be absolutely worthless, it is a sure thing that Michigan jobs will grow exponentially!” She ducks the issue of the constitutionality of printing currency with a shrug and a “constitution? that was something that mattered 200 years ago.”

The governor’s unique approach symbolizes her dedication to solving Michigan’s Budget, Unemployment, Ecological, Power, Hunger, Gambling, Immigration, Education, Declining Population, and Missing Pets crisis’ all without having to lower taxes even one single Dollar for Michigan residents. – Staff
