It’s been said that an elephant has an exceptional memory. Fortunately for Michigan’s remaining victims of over-reaching taxation, it holds true. Generally it’s the Republican activists who are renewing efforts to oust the bad guys in our midst.
There have been a few editorials decrying the efforts as a “waste of time” or “not worth the money spent,” but these are from expected sources and typical liberal opinion pages of the Michigan press, and a few of the dem commentators as well.
Its about the message however, that is; “IF YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND BASIC ECONOMICS OF BUSINESS YOU OUGHT NOT ENACT LEGISLATION THAT HAS EFFECT ON IT.” A truly novel concept.
If after the recalls are successful for some of the legislators, we can be without their negative influence on our economy, for however short a time, perhaps we can limit the continuing damage and maybe be able to bandage. Ultimately however, we need to rid ourselves of the scourge that is Granholm before REAL HEALING can begin.
