For all the complaining I have done, and will continue to do, I am still truly thankful for my life in Michigan.
I give thanks for food that will be on our table this holiday, and at all times this year
I give thanks for the blessings that are my wife and children
I give thanks upon thanks for our state’s (and the nation’s) bravest, fighting in foreign lands for the freedoms we enjoy.
I give thanks that despite Lansing’s best intentions, my business is still here.
I give thanks that my children, my family, and my friends are here in this great land that is protected by a constitution that cannot be easily voted away in the wee hours of the morning.
and.. I thank GOD for the ability to read, and write, and promote and extend the freedoms I have been accustomed to all of my short life.
