LANSING, Mich.— Activists with the group Americans for Prosperity-Michigan, will protest President Obama’s policies during his visit to Michigan State University on Friday. The group says it will keep its focus on the destructive power of the President’s health care law, which continues to dominate the concerns of Michigan citizens.

Activists will gather at the corner of Bogue and Wilson on the MSU campus to demonstrate, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

TIME: 1:30 p.m.
DATE: Feb. 7, 2014
LOCATION: Corner of Bogue and Wilson, Michigan State University campus

“The President may be trying to change the conversation, but our activists are committed to holding policymakers accountable for a law that is hurting millions of Michigan citizens,” said Scott Hagerstrom, state director for Americans for Prosperity-Michigan. “The consequences of his ‘signature achievement’ continue to pile up—lost jobs, fewer hours, cancelled insurance plans, skyrocketing health care costs, and broken promises. We’ll be rallying to remind the public that President Obama told the ‘Lie of the Year’ to America and has yet to offer an apology.”
