I’m with you folks. Throw them all out and start over…if you can find honest and decent people who will do the job. Remove all changes to the U.S. Constitution and go back to what was intended. There is nothing about church and state separation. Get this country back to a Christian Nation so that our Heavenly Father will bless it.

This is one country for it’s citizens. IMHO, don’t protest in the streets, yes you have the right to yell and scream. How is that working out?

What might work in the near future for the USA, this is my idea, when you take off work on April 15, do file your taxes however, is to organize all of the protesters into a smart group.

1. Get a measure on the ballots to reduce the pay of ALL politicians, this year, money talks, I suggest
-35%, and the politicians cannot vote themselves a pay raise to cover the decrease ever….

2. Once again, money talks, get the votes to reduce current payout of federal pensions, if people went to work for the federal government because the work was easy and were securred a pension, well, times are different now, we the taxpayers can’t afford the pensions any more. Reduce these by -15%

3. Use your time in a constructive manner, yeah you can carry signs, SCREAM, YELL, THREATEN. Get out the tables, sign petitions for the ballots this November, collect money to GET THE MEASURES ON THE BALLOTS.

4. People of the USA, lets get organized, get real, you want to protest, protest by the vote, then if the vote is held up by a judge, make sure the writting of the ballot cannot be stayed by a court order.

5. This salary decrease should also go towards Local, City, County, State, we pay enough, we can’t afford our government any more.

6. Limit the pensions a career politician can collect ( I suspect this is the same in other states) we have Jerry Brown, this politician will collect 4 PENSIONS, I say he should get the average of the 4.

7. Above, Chris said, just walk out, I’d think about that one, employers might just fire you, with so many people out of work, it would be real easy to find a replacement.

8. Petition your congress people to stop the war now, if they don’t, impeach them to step down, we could collect signatures from all the people for the future during the April 15th event.

9. Decrease ALL government unions, we can’t afford them any more

10. English is our language, stop wasting money to print the DMV and other publications in 38 languages

People of the US, please think which course of action would best benifit us, carring signs,yelling and screaming, yes we can do that, we have the right to assemble and protest……………or, signing petitions for salary decreases, limiting pensions, limiting benifits, stoping the war, etc., again, we have the right to assemble and protest.

The pen may will be mightier than the protest.

Keep pushing The Fair Tax Plan on the National level stripping Congress of the POWER. I believe a Nationwide Strike is the answer. A “run” on the banks withdrawing OUR money for cash on hand. As bad as it is a America with the unemployment at nearly 10% and rising, the pain is here at almost 30 million Americans out of work. A little self imposed pain to shut this Country down is as easy as sitting in a chair. Evryone just walk out. A UPS strike has an impact in a few days. Imagine 50 million more walking out conducting a sit in. Do exactly the opposite of what obama wants or expects. Lets reduse him to a lame duck in the shorest time ever. He’s selling us out Period.

I will attend the ta party in Lansing on the 15th of April. and I will bring a friend. What more can I do to combat this rising tide of socialisim?
After reading the effects of socialism written by people who have lived under it, I know why I don’t want it here in my country, no matter how Obama trys to justify the stimulus package it is still socialism…. a massive distribution of the nations wealth first nationally and then globally .

Incredible piece, thoughtful and provocative. Thank you for expressing what so many of have been feeling like lately. Helpless and hopeless, especially when our own politicians have been ignoring us for years. I come from a very conservative state, Goldwater country. It’s time to go back to what our founding father established and the new versions McCain, Obama, Bush currently stand for. Stop killing us with new taxes, there is no accountability anywhere in Government, it’s time to send them packing back home and have citizen government back. 6 months in Washington and 6 months home so they can hear from us the true constituents, not the special interests, Lobbiests etc. Somehow the voters of each state have been forgotten.

Please, EVERYONE!! Ask everyone you know, and ask them to pass it to everyone they know this mantra: “Vote only for challengers, no incumbents of either party.” In 2010 wwe have to change the entire House of Representatives. It is the only way to restore CHECKS AND BALANCES. We have to block the Obama/Pelosi/Reid troika, and it has to be in the HOUSE !! That’s where the MONEY is.!!

As a single mom with a grown son and a brand new grand-daughter, I’m protesting for all of the children that have no say in the amount of debt we will leave them with these massive bailouts. Our children and grandchildren deserve the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We cannot let the BIG government take that away from them.

Our country was never “for the people, by the people” The people have always been enslaved by a cycle of debt that has only become more complicated and looked over. If this is the land of the free, those who seek social or communal living should be able to leave by their own will and govern themselves.
